New rental regulations in Spain

Since July 1, all advertisers of short-term rentals (vacation, temporary, or rooms) must have a unique registration number provided by property registries so that authorities can monitor and supervise these types of rentals. There is no deadline for requesting this code, but until this code is obtained, the property cannot be marketed on digital platforms where financial transactions are involved.
